SKIN CANCER SURGERY AND REPAIR

Caution – graphic images are contained on this page.

Here at SunCoast Skin, our specialist GPs have done extensive training in skin cancer medicine and furthering our surgical skills to be able to treat over 98% of all diagnosed skin cancers. This includes biopsies, basic and complex surgical excisions, to more comprehensive flaps and grafts (full thickness and split skin).

All surgeries will incur a private gap, priced from $250.

We also offer surgical repair of ear lobes and small scars. The procedure is performed under a local anaesthetic in our surgery as a day procedure. The cost of ear lobe repairs start from $500.

We require a comprehensive consultation prior to recommending any surgery to determine your suitability. You do not require a referral from your doctor, but we do welcome all referrals.

About the Procedures

All surgeries are performed in our surgery under a local anaesthetic as a day procedure. We recommend getting someone to drive you to and from your appointment on the day.

For larger surgeries, we recommend a period of rest, especially if you are having surgery on your limbs or over any joints. You are discharged home with extra analgesia if required.

For those having more complex surgeries, you are followed up regularly during your healing journey. Your sutures are removed 7 to 14 days after the operation. We also offer in-clinic dressing changes for more complex and larger procedures.
