DR JO BUTTERFIELD

I graduated from the University of London in 2005 and have been practicing medicine in Australia since 2006.

In 2013 I obtained a Fellowship from The Royal College of General Practitioners after several years of working in Toowoomba and surrounding rural Queensland.

The fields of dermatology and skin cancer medicine have always interested me from an early stage of my career and I have undertaken further training in these areas of medicine. I have been performing skin checks and treating skin cancers for over ten years. I have previously worked in the Dermatology department at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital alongside consultant dermatologists to provide advanced skin cancer services. I have advanced surgical skills and I am able to treat most skin cancers in the clinic including facial surgery and procedures requiring flap and graft repairs.

I have also undertaken further training in aesthetic medicine and I am able to offer a range of cosmetic services. My expertise is in full face rejuvenation, focusing on keeping a natural appearance. Please book in for a consultation to assess your needs to work towards healthier refreshed skin!

When I am not working I can be found enjoying the beautiful sights of the northern beaches of the Sunshine Coast with my husband and three children or in the garden on my acreage.
