COSMETIC LESION REMOVAL

At SunCoast Skin, our specialist GPs offer cosmetic removal of small to medium sized moles, age spots, cysts, skin tags and other small to medium sized lesions on the face and body. The removal is performed using a variety of techniques including minor surgery to laser. Dr Choong holds a medical specific laser licence through Queensland Health Radiation to operate a laser for medical lesion removal. This is separate from a cosmetic or rejuvenation laser licence.

About the Procedure

Our lesions removals are usually performed under a local anaesthetic as a day procedure. You are allowed to go home on the day. We recommend basic analgesia and sun avoidance for up to a week after the procedure. The area has to remain dry and clean for a week after the procedure. You are offered a follow up 2 weeks after the procedure.
